Biography

Worked as a DM resident at a premier center (Sir Sunderlal Hospital, B.H.U.) in eastern UP (2200-bed hospital, including a 48-bed gastroenterology ward), handled a high volume of OPD (up to 900), and treated indoor and critical patients

Managed Liver diseases, IBD-UC and CD, Pancreaticobiliary disorders, and other common & rare GI disorders.

Gained extensive exposure to interventional procedures like USG-guided liver biopsy, liver abscess drainage, and pigtail insertion; upper GI endoscopy (up to 70 cases per day along with EVL, EST, Glue injection, esophageal and pyloric dilatation, PEG placement, SEMS placement); colonoscopy (up to 20 cases per day along with stricture dilatation, polypectomy, band ligation, APC); ERCP (attended up to 15 cases per day with 25 fresh papilla canulation, stone extraction, stent placement); EUS (diagnostic and therapeutic procedure including biopsies, cystogastrostomy, LAMS placement

Gained vast exposure to critical care gastroenterology, including endoscopic management of bleeding, PLEX, etc., in an ICU setting.

Attended workshops on POEM, EUS-guided biliary drainage, and other procedures.
